The Background

You play as Kyle East, a middle-aged freelance journalist living a very average life. Your goal is to investigate the Walker family’s mansion, located in a small forest in Eastend, in order to write a viral news story that could forever change your career.

The mansion was built by members of an immortal ancient village that has lived off the grid for several centuries. It is believed that the mansion is far vaster than it appears from the outside, extending deep underground.
